I worked on a poem last week - all week - and ended up with a pretty good 8-line poem. When I saw it in the theatre it was from the balcony and my old eyes could not really see the faces of the actors, and my old ears missed a lot of the words. We have all been lucky enough to see it live in the theatre, but for me, seeing it with closed captioning on TV was a real gift. We had a little family gathering last night, keeping our distance as well as we could, and watched Hamilton on the Disney channel. Meme of the week - and the pandemic goes on and on.
